'Man with the Hot Almond Milk'

Street food never stops intriguing me. Every time I visit my favorite ‘food street’ with dozens of stalls dishing out piping hot, fresh, mouth watering delicacies, I fall in love with it all over again!

Bangalore evenings are quite chilly right now. So this time I got myself a big mug of Hot Badam Milk (Hot Almond Milk). A young man was standing by the big Kadai/ Wok, stirring the hot almond milk. The steam coming out of the kadai, rustic old shop with kitsch interiors and the smile on that man’s face was perfect for a black and white photo. I was glad I had my camera on hand.

The almond milk itself was fragrant, hot with a thick layer of cream floating on top but tooth achingly sweet!
